Natural Cures and Home Remedies- Frankincense Oil

Updated: Jun 12, 2021

Frankincense essential oil is obtained from the resin of Frankincense or Olibanum trees. Traces of this oil has been found in the remains of ancient Egyptian and Anglo-Saxon cultures. Known as the king of essential oils, Frankincense has a variety of notable uses and benefits. This powerful essential oil is revered for its ability to beautify and rejuvenate skin when applied topically, and to promote cellular health and immunity and produce a healthy inflammatory response when taken internally. Use of this oil can affect cancer cells directly, inhibit their growth, and even trigger apoptosis. When inhaled or diffused, Frankincense promotes feelings of peace, relaxation, satisfaction, and overall wellness.

PROPERTIES:

Anti-inflammatory; astringent; antiseptic; disinfectant; digestive; expectorant; diuretic.

TREATMENT: Latest research trials have proven efficacy in treating:

Brain cancer; Breast cancer; Colon cancer; Pancreatic cancer; Prostate cancer; Stomach cancer.

RESEARCH FINDINGS:

Frankincense oil exhibits power over the DNA code. Cancer starts when the DNA code within the cell’s nucleus becomes corrupted. It seems frankincense has a re-set function. It can tell the cell what the right DNA code should be. Frankincense separates the ‘brain’ of the cancerous cell – the nucleus – from the ‘body’ – the cytoplasm, and closes down the nucleus to stop it reproducing corrupted DNA codes.

HOW TO USE:

Take Frankincense oil internally by diluting one drop to 120 ml / 4 fl. oz of liquid.

Diffusing 3 to 4 drops in a oil burner, the fragrances of Frankincense essential oil with its strong aromatic properties give a positive and focused lift.

Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.

1. A Cough relief

Common colds often cause an irritating cough. To make it subside, mix some water with a few drops of this oil and gargle to get rid of the phlegm in the lungs and thus clear your airway and ease breathing. Additionally, massage the neck with this oil to provide further relief.

2. Aches and Pains relief

When the immune system fights an illness, the body starts to ache, but this oil can soothe the pain and fight inflammation.

Massage the back, neck, and shoulders, and this essential oil will penetrate into the skin pores and boost the production of dopamine, and help you lessen the pain and fight the fatigue.

3. Immune System Boost

Its consumption strengthens the immune system and helps the body to fight colds and illnesses. It is able to fight viruses, bacteria, and even cancer. It also prevents the forming of germs on the skin and mouth. You should just dilute a drop of frankincense into coconut oil, a teaspoon of honey, or a glass of water.

4. Anxiety relief

Rub some Frankincense oil on the palms of the hands and breathe in to feel the calming effects of the essential oil, and it will relieve anxiety and soothe the nerves. Its inhalation reduces heart rate and high blood pressure.

5. Improved Sleep

When you are sick, you might find it hard to fall asleep, so use a diffuser or vaporizer with frankincense in the bedroom, and the soothing aroma will help you relax, treat pain, open the breathing passages, and help your body to reach an ideal sleep temperature.
